Hello, dear friends! Let me tell you about the current situation of the so-called Corona virus cases in Russia (COVID-19) and how it is being dealt with in this country.
What is the rate of corona virus cases in Moscow?
Although, the rate has been changing drastically during the last month. For example, somewhen on 10th of March there were almost no cases of the infection. Meanwhile, at the end of March, the number of people with Corona virus in Russia increase by thousands every day. However, it is around 52,763 cases in total. Although it is sad that Moscow and it environ has about 29000 cases.

What are the preventive measures to fight the virus for individuals?
However, to prevent the spread of the Corona virus cases in Russia; people can take the same measures as it is the normal thing everywhere in the world. Since, it is the same virus; maybe just in different forms.
However, some of these measures are something one should be doing before now. Also, everyone knows that they are necessary even before the spread of the virus. Just wash your hands and yourself thoroughly whenever you find an opportunity to do so; after leaving your house. Also, when you to touch something dirty.
However, the other measures are quite unusual, especially for Russians. Although, many people do not follow the rules. This is due to the speculation around the prices. I am talking about masks now. However, before the virus outbreak the price for a simple mask was around 0.04 $. Now it is around 0.6 $ per mask and it is hard to find. I have not even mention the prices for some more protective masks. However, they are too expensive for our country. Since the salaries of majority of the people here are low.
Economic breakdown in Russia
Besides, Russia has faced a lot of economic breakdown during the last century. Therefore, people are taught to stock their house with the most important things for times like this. So, in the end of March, the whole country went to shops and supermarkets looking for buckwheat, salt, sugar and rice. You can still find it all in the shops, there are no problems with products. It was just a false panic, but better safe than sorry. Especially when it comes to food.

Preventive measures from Government towards the Corona virus cases in Russia
The government realized what is going on too late, on my opinion. The preventive measures came into power in the end of March, and they are still not fully implemented. But the government works hard to make them effective.

These measures include:
Police control checkpoints where people must show their permits in order to leave travel between cities and regions.
The ban on leaving one’s house farther than the region where the person lives unless you have a special permit (most people do, by the way).
Building of new temporary and permanent hospitals for taking care of infected people.
Educational facilities work on remote basis now.
Allegedly some people are paid money, but, well, no one knows who these people are.
Some usually crowded places are being thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis.
Medical staff works as hard as they can, hospitals are stacked with people.
All the places where people gather in big groups like entertaining facilities, museums and churches are closed, even though Christian people had Easter not long ago.
And the most important one – the border is closed now.
Reaction of people towards the lockdown and Corona virus cases in Russia
Some of these measures do not work practically, because people have to work and earn money to live somehow, otherwise they will die from starvation. That is why even though people are required to stay at their houses no matter what, still a great amount of them goes to work officially with all the permits necessary to do so. This double standard makes this rule completely ineffective, since not just people with necessary professions must work (doctors, utility service workers, police, couriers), but also a lot of other people.
Well, it is not the whole list, but these are the most important highlights on the measures implemented both by individuals and the government. We will see how it goes next, but nothing looks good so far.

Still though, Russian unbroken will, healthy stubbornness and patience is one of the best in the world and it will certainly help us all to fight the virus. After all, this country has gone through a lot of things already and the virus is not the worst of them.
