Jebel Ali

Is a very popular town in the southwestern part of Dubai it is just 35km far from Dubai. This is a port town in Dubai where various activities take place. It is close to Al Maktoum International Airport and Dubai Metro, a rail network that conveys people to and fro. Dubai metro is the biggest train network in UAE; almost 110,000 population of Dubai uses this metro services on a daily basis.

Jebel Ali was founded in 1977 having 47.1 km2 area of land. However, its population is over 31,634. Jebel Ali is home to the Free Zone and Industrial area. Life in Jebel Ali is cool. It’s an area where accommodation is not too expensive. The majority of the people living here work in various aspects of the occupation. Never forget that Jebel Ali is home to many tourist attractions; such as beaches, parks, monuments, and Shopping Malls.

Al Aweer

Al Aweer which is sometimes spelled Al Awir lies on Emirates Road E611, near Ras al Khor; which is popularly known for Bird Sanctuary. However, Lahbab a village that is mostly occupied by Bedouins is East to Al Aweer. Al Aweer is formerly known for the Camel breeding and Agricultural area but is now a beautiful town in Dubai. Although, the Maktoum family still hold some farm area in this town. Just like Jebel Ali, Al Aweer is only 35km far from Dubai city centre.

Al Lisaili

Is the biggest town in Dubai. It is actually a County something the UAE refers to as Township. However, Al Lisaili lies in the desert part of Dubai. But having a very low population of around 2,514. The town is mostly used for Camel racing which usually holds in March and October. It’s home to Al Marmoom Camel Racing Track which usually holds March to April. Also, the Dubai Camel Market lies here.

Al Lisaili lies very close to Al Ain Highway usually called E66. This township is famous for having 15,000m² space for the abattoir. A very large area where animals are slaughtered. The township also boasts about the Al Marmoom Heritage Village; a festival that celebrates the Emirati heritage. Al Lisaili is home to many tourist attractions. Such as the Dubai Sevens Stadium and SkyDive Dubai where skydiving and many other sports are performed. The Desert Conservation Reserve is also here. Well, the list of towns in Dubai is not much.
